Making Money, EverQuest style
So this isn't really anything new, but there's a new article by Julian Dibbell (author of "A Rape in Cyberspace") about making money in MMORPGs. He writes that in a month of experimenting as a "tradesman" in an online game, he made $1086 a week.
I find this phenomenon extremely interesting. It seems to be the first demonstrable bleed between real world and virtual world environments. While there are online marriages, addictions, and other stuff, this seems to be something different. Thoughts?
